A fleeting glimpse of sunshine

26th March 2023

A day of snow showers and generally poor visibility with cloud lifting to various levels.  Occasionally the clouds lifted to reveal blue skies and sunshine.  There is a soft covering of new unconsolidated snow on most aspects from mid mountain up.

This cracking indicates weakness within the new windslab. This was a South aspect at 1050 metres.

A spell of clear weather arrived late morning. Looking down the South side of Cnap Coire na Spreidhe.

A brief look into Strath Nethy, Beinn Mheadhoin almost came into view.
