Cold and clear

Another stunning day in the Cairngorms, cold, clear with fresh Westerly winds. Soft unconsolidated snow remains on all aspects, apart from a few wind exposed slopes, where rocks are exposed or lurking just beneath soft snow.
A well groomed trail leading up to the summit of Cairngorm.
Many ski tourers enjoying the good visibility, snow conditions and lighter winds.
