Pea soup in the porridge field

18th March 2023

How many words describe a saturated, wet snowpack?  Slush, mush, slosh, sludge, porridge and gloop all would be fairly accurate descriptions of the snowpack in the Northern Cairngorms this morning.  Thankfully, temperatures are expected to lower later today so expect a much firmer (icier) surface to travel on tomorrow.
