Snow flurries before significant snowfall arrives

11th April 2023

There were only a few snow flurries today, but a major change is expected this evening.  During the next 24 hour period very strong winds and significant snowfall (30-40cm of still air snow are possible) are expected leading to very significant drifting which will produce accumulations of unstable windslab in wind sheltered areas.

So everything is expected to change overnight and tomorrow ………………………………
