Strath Nethy

13th February 2024

A dry cold day in the Northern Coires with intermittent sunny spells.  A day with constant redistribution of any unconsolidated snow into wind sheltered areas. Where exposed to the wind, the remaining old snow pack is bullet hard with substantially sized ice puddles to negotiate, especially on the plateau.

Skier triggered cornice collapse within the ski area.
