Storm force winds

21st March 2024

A mild day with storm force winds and showers of rain at all levels.  The snowpack is depleting and mostly confined to high plateaus and coire back walls above 900 metres.  Ribbons of snow remain below.  All change for the next few days as winter returns.

Views of the upper section of Ciste Gully and Coire Cas.

Walking towards Coire and Lochain before it became to windy to go any higher.

A clear spell with views of Coire an Lochain.

A day of rainbows.
