Light snow showers

10th February 2025

Another cold day with light snow flurries during the afternoon. Some light drifting on strong East-South-East winds.  New isolated accumulations of fragile windslab have developed in wind sheltered locations and although shallow, if triggered there is the potential to be swept off your feet.

A squally snow shower – The Fiacaill a’ Choire Chais ridge.

Descending the Cas whilst trying to avoid patches of very firm snow.

A clear brief clear spell for a view of Coire an t-Sneachda.
