Significant snow loss

2nd February 2025

Overnight, we lost a lot of snow to the warm temperatures, especially at lower elevations.

Cover remains good above 900 metres especially in the high North facing coires and wind shelter locations.  Where cover was thin, this has now been stripped back to bare ground leaving only patches and thin ribbons.  Very little snow lying below 700 metres now.
