Squally showers and sun

22nd February 2025

Another windy day on the hill with the gale force South-Westerlies still dominating the weather. The freezing level dropped to around 1100 metres today which did produce a dusting of fresh snow in the very highest of locations, soon disappearing where exposed to direct sun.  Looking ahead to tomorrow, today could be called the calm before the storm.

A passing squally shower engulfing the coires once again.

Coire an Lochain with a shaky camera.

Mess of Pottage.

The Goat Track.

Aladdins and Fluted Buttresses.
