Continued snow loss

6th March 2025

The snow cover continues to diminish in the mild temperatures and warm winds.  Apparently today will be the warmest day of the year, with temperatures remaining above the seasonal average. The midday Cairn Gorm summit reading was plus 1.8°C at midday, with Southerly gales.  It must be time soon for the Lambing storms?
