Definitely Still Winter

Definitely winter conditions today. Cloudy with mainly poor visibility, frequent snow showers and whiteout conditions. Very occasional brighter glimpses but never clear summits. All on a moderate North-Westerly wind making it feel very cold.
Unstable windslab continuing to accumulate on wind sheltered North-East to South aspects, with fragile cornices. Scoured and icy on wind exposed slopes.
Great sliding on the soft snow but with potentially serious runouts to the unwary transitioning onto icy aspects. Navigation skills essential.

Limited navigation features with clues to recent weather.
Navigation in the white box with essential compass checks.
A very occasional glimpse looking across to Beinn Mheadhoin.
