Another mild day in the Northern Cairngorm area which continues to diminish our already depleted snow patches. Ribbons, strips and patches are limited in nature and are now very much confined to North-East and East aspects above 1000 metres. These patches can be found around coire rims, in deep gullies and at the tops of gullies where the snow had build up some depth. These areas need to be sought out now.
