Low cloud and drizzle
4th March 2026
A day of low cloud and drizzle with gale force Southerlies. The snowpack surface is beginning to soften at all levels, however serious run out potential remains a hazard in the event of a fall. Rock fall was also noted in the Northern Corrie’s today this came out of one of the gullies. Travel conditions on foot are generally good with the main paths into the corries mostly clear of snow. The majority of snow is above 800 metres around coire back walls and corrie floors and plateau’s, patches and ribbons of snow below.
