Snow showers and sunny spells

Remaining cold with snow showers through the morning, some bright spells later. Â Drifting snow at higher levels, with soft unstable windslab continuing to develop in steep lee areas. Â As the cloud lifted evidence of a skier triggered avalanche was revealed on the Cas Head Wall.

The ptarmigan is loosing it’s winter plume.
