There are several centimetres of new snow on all aspects. Â This overlies a widespread layer of surface hoar which developed during yesterdays cold calm conditions. Â The snowpack is weak in areas of steep and convex terrain, today’s avalanche bulletin will give you more details.
Visibility was poor above 900 metres making it difficult to identify the terrain ahead.
