The cold Easterly airflow has led to continual snowfall down to glen levels. Â Gale force winds at higher levels, Â drifting snow above 400 metres. Â Weaknesses remain beneath unstable accumulations of windslab which are currently deepening and becoming more widespread. Â Unstable snow is affecting relatively low levels, avalanches have been observed just above glen levels. Â This cold weather trend is set to continue with heavier snowfall expected over the next couple of days. Â See the avalanche forecast for more details.
