Drifting.

2nd March 2017

Fair bit of snow being moved around the hill today. Some unstable deposits building but when we were out there was not too much depth. Friday due to be a calmer day.

Well disguised ptarmigan. There were plenty around on the walk in. Probably a bit windy for them higher up.

I’m sure you can guess which way the winds are blowing!

Group heading onto the Plateau, it started to clear up around this time.

Main pit site today. Unstable surface layers but at this point deposits were not deep.

Corrie an Lochain through the drifting snow.

West facing aspects looking a bit more scoured.
