Wild windy Westerlies with summit temperatures of plus 3 degree’s celsius by mid afternoon.
On a more positive note sleet and rain soon cleared and it remained dry for most of the afternoon. Â The snowpack surface is generally soft and thawing at all levels, cold dry snow lies beneath.
