Cool with increasing winds

10th January 2020

A calm start to the day with sub zero temperatures down to glen levels.  South-South-Westerly winds increased through the day with gusts of over 70 mph during the afternoon.

Although the old snowpack is limited there has been some drifting snow at higher levels from the most recent snowfall.  Burns are beginning to freeze and sections of the main paths were also covered in water ice.
