A Just Reward

Well, after all the weeks of storm force winds and blizzards, finally we get a day of calm; good snow cover and generally good snowpack stability. A rare day to enjoy and savour. Sorry for any indulgence with the photos. Many people were out in the hills also enjoying the day.
But BEWARE, Â it will all change tomorrow with weak windslab building on NE to E aspects, mostly due to the new slab lying on top of the existing unconsolidated snow cover.
