A day of light snow showers, on blustery West winds.  The widespread firm snowpack has a cover of new snow which has drifted into lee areas.  New fragile cornices have also developed on Easterly aspects.  Easy travel if your on ski; however cautious turns were applied today due to the breakable crust lurking at lower levels.  If your on foot the crust is supportive at higher levels and on wind exposed ridges.

Coire an t-Sneachda:  Note the cornice overhanging this E facing slope along the terrain feature.
