A windy day

A day of gale force Southerly winds, with snowfall at higher altitudes. Â This turned to sleet and rain towards summit levels during the afternoon.
Some snow loss at lower levels and on exposed slopes and ridges but in general the Cairngorms are mostly covered in snow.
A few hardy skiers and mountaineers were out and about, making the most of the day.
