The picture shows Blyth examining something interesting in the snowpit. At 1050m we were right on the snow-rain limit around lunch-time. We were safe enough in Coire Cas, but large wet slab avalanches and cornice collapse were reported from Coire an Lochain about the same time. Hopefully, most of this activity is now over.
