Mild and misty

Today I decided to check out the wind direction antenna’s on the Cairngorm Summit weather station as it’s malfunctioning at the moment and one was pointing at a funny angle after all the snow and ice that had accumulated on everything the week before.
Its been another very mild day after yesterdays brief freeze. Â The snow pack is soft and wet in most places. Â The International Climbing Meet is taking place this week at Glenmore Lodge and although soggy it was reported that some routes were being climbed but the word “waterfall” was also mentioned during some gully ascents.Â
