Cold and icy on Hogmanay

31st December 2015

After yesterdays storm today was a total contrast.  With summit temperatures of Minus 4C the Cairgorms has frozen.  All the running water has turned into glass like ice and the soggy snowpack is bolt hard neve.  Remember to take your crampons.
