Winter continues

White out conditions this morning, 50m visibility, minus 6 on the summit of Cairngorm with strong North winds. Â The old snow is very firm and scoured on exposed slopes. A few centimetres of new snow above 900m with unstable windslab forming on lee slopes. Exposed ridges are scoured and very firm.
The Northern Corries holding plenty of snow.
Cloud began lifting during the early afternoon
