Winter continues

White out conditions this morning, 50m visibility, minus 6 on the summit of Cairngorm with strong North winds.  The old snow is very firm and scoured on exposed slopes. A few centimetres of new snow above 900m with unstable windslab forming on lee slopes. Exposed ridges are scoured and very firm.
