Another windy day

Once again the Cairngorms were obscured by clouds brought about by the strong South-Easterly airflow. Â Hill conditions were quite challenging…. gale force winds blowing ice pellets, small pebbles and spindrift into your face, googles were essential items. Â The breakable crust didn’t make it any easier except once your foot was securely wedged into a nice post hole the surrounding crust gave you a bit more stability during the stronger gusts so long as you braced yourself. Â All good character building!
