Widespread crust

14th December 2019

After yesterday’s thick mist and light snow a widespread breakable crust has developed to all levels in the cooler temperatures.  A few folk were out ski touring today and the crust was said to support skis.  Hard going if your on foot, snow shoes are slightly better.
