The thaw continues

22nd January 2020

Another mild day with average summit temperatures of +4C.  Patches of soft snow remain on the plateau and corrie back walls.  A few select gully lines are just about complete, limited ice remains on some of the easier angled slabs.  Rock and ice fall observed in the corrie today!
