Due to cool conditions and dense hill fog a thin glaze of ice has developed above 600 metres. Â It initially goes unnoticed until you encounter footpaths and boulder fields, these are particularly treacherous. Â The glaze of ice is slowly being covered by a thin cover of new snow.
