Due to cool conditions and dense hill fog a thin glaze of ice has developed above 600 metres.   It initially goes unnoticed until you encounter footpaths and boulder fields, these are particularly treacherous.  The glaze of ice is slowly being covered by a thin cover of new snow.  Mind how you go…
