Another low cloud day

12th December 2020

Covid-19

The Scottish Avalanche Information Service would recommend that those wishing to enjoy the winter mountains refer to Mountaineering Scotland and Scottish Government advice regarding Covid-19 and outdoor activities.

The cloud base lifted to around 1000 metres from time to time.  Snow cover is becoming quite patchy below 700 metres.  Above this level it is mostly soft and knee deep, a little firmer at higher levels.

Looking across to Fiachaill an t-Sneachda ridge

Looking North-West; the faint distant line is the burn which drains out of Sneachda Coire.
