Still only a dusting

The Scottish Avalanche Information Service would recommend that those wishing to enjoy the winter mountains refer to Mountaineering Scotland and Scottish Government advice regarding Covid-19 and outdoor activities.

Today was a cold mainly clear day in the Cairngorms. There was still only a dusting of fresh snow with most of the new snow having fallen further west.

The crags in Coire an Lochan

Looking west with Braeriach on the left and sgor Gaoith on the right. There was definitely more snow further west although the covering on these hills was thinner than the picture shows.
