Covid-19

The Scottish Avalanche Information Service would recommend that those wishing to enjoy the winter mountains refer to Mountaineering Scotland and Scottish Government advice regarding Covid-19 and outdoor activities.

A stormy day in the Cairngorms.  South-Easterly winds with gusts of over 70 mph.  Difficult hill conditions all round especially for those that made it to the snow line.  Some snow loss mainly below 700 metres.  Cooler over the summits with snow through the afternoon.
