A day of strong Southerly winds with snowfall and drifting snow.  The old snowpack is firm and icy on wind exposed areas.  Deep drifts and cornices have developed on Northerly facing lee slopes.  Milder with slush below 600 metres.

Soft cornices developing on Northerly aspects. This one was just above 800 metres.

The Allt burn; poor visibility in the Cairngorms today.
