A day of strong Southerly winds with snowfall and drifting snow. Â The old snowpack is firm and icy on wind exposed areas. Â Deep drifts and cornices have developed on Northerly facing lee slopes. Â Milder with slush below 600 metres.
Soft cornices developing on Northerly aspects. This one was just above 800 metres.
