Storm force South-Easterly winds with persistent snowfall down to glen levels.    Some slopes are wind scoured and stable; however unstable windslab is rapidly developing down to low levels on lee slopes.  This new unstable windslab overlies existing weaknesses within the old snowpack.  See updated avalanche forecast for more details.
