Another mild day.

13th January 2022

Mild with occasional mist and drizzle, some clear spells later in the day.  Where soft snow remains in the boulder fields and stream beds there’s potential to loose ones leg down a hole if the snow collapses but this can mostly be avoided in the patchy conditions.  Coire back walls and plateau areas hold the most snow and although thawing, the snowpack remains firm on some steep slopes.
