Bright sunny day for the end of the SAIS season

15th April 2023

The SAIS 2022-23 winter season ended on a high, as far as the weather is concerned. Today is the last forecast for this winter. SAIS operations will restart in mid-December, with a standby service prior to that in this area.

Thanks so much for the continued great service. Your blogs are incredibly useful when heading out on the hill, and very enjoyable to read and keep up to speed when I’ve not been out for a while.

Many thanks and enjoy the summer season.

Thanks to all of you for your daily photos and descriptions of conditions that always play a major part in helping me decide whether I’ll head out, and if I’ll stick to the piste or wander. Hope you all have a great summer.
