The Northern Coires

24th December 2023

The wind and the lack of snow seem to be the theme recently.  Our max wind strength in the past 24 hour period was 109 mph according to the Met Office. Thankfully the winds are expected to lower tomorrow (it’s all relative) as is the freezing level (again, it’s all relative).

Merry Christmas to everybody reading this from all of the Northern Cairngorms SAIS team.  Maybe Santa will bring us some snow.
